Give me the space I need to build a life — if not, please don’t expect me to build one when you stay friends with people who want me gone.
This is what the End looks like? Man, much worse than I thought...
Alternative/pop - unsigned indie artist from New York City, TRISTN, recently released her debut album JANUARY, and is preparing for her very first US national tour with Teens of America this fall. She will be performing songs from the album, with a sneak peak of her brand new and yet-to-be released second album.
TRISTN worked with world-renowned engineers including the late Tom Coyne on “Now You Know”, Ted Jensen on “Nothing to Say (Nothin’)”, Christian Wright Abbey Road Studios UK, co-producer Nick Carbone and her go-to Producer, Steve Kupillas who produced this album with her. TRISTN began producing music with Kupillas and Carbone who became her mentors. Her lyrics depict true events in her life. Throughout the writing/recording process, TRISTN came into her own as both a solo artist, songwriter and producer.
After experimenting with band dynamics for a few years and jet-setting to and from Los Angeles, TRISTN returned to New York in 2016 to focus on performing and writing as a solo artist. Her musical influences range from Coldplay, Skylar Gray, Ed Sheeran, Radiohead and Linkin’ Park. TRISTN’s first demo, “Remember Me” caught the attention of producer Kupillas who later worked closely with TRISTN developing her universally appealing sound. Her second single “Sky Wide Open” grew to become a fan-favorite song, along with a self-made music video on her YouTube channel TRISTNVEVO. Her recently released three singles from this album “Nothing to Say (Nothin’)”, “Sky Wide Open”, and “Anywhere But Here” have received spectacular reviews in the United States.
